Applewood® Vegan Tear And Share Garlic Bread
This dish is a delicious show stopper,
using a fool proof bread recipe.
For the bread
• 300g Strong bread flour
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 x 7g sachet of yeast
• 200ml warm water
• 200g vegan butter
• 2 garlic cloves finely chopped
• A handful of chopped parsley
• 200g of Applewood® vegan cheeze
cut into large cubes
In a mixer with a dough hook, add the bread ingredients and mix for 5 minutes.
Pop the dough into an oiled bowl and leave to rise for 30 minutes in a warm place.
Once risen, knead again for 5 minutes by hand, tear off dough and roll into balls, until you’ve used it all.
Push a cube of Applewood® vegan cheeze into each dough ball and tuck the dough round it.
Now grease a tray big enough to fit the dough balls.
In a pan melt the vegan butter, garlic and parsley together.
Brush the base of the tray with butter mixture, pop in the dough balls together.
Now leave to rise again for 30 minutes.
Once risen, pour over the rest of the garlic butter and pop in the oven for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and fluffy.
Serve straight way.
